Über einen Zeitraum von mehr als zwei Jahren wurde „Soon We’ll All Be Ghosts” in Seattle, Washington mit Chris Commons im RedRoom Studio (Mastodon, Isis, Minus the Bear) aufgenommen, abgemischt
und gemastert. Die Aufnahmen für den Gesang fanden in Vancouver im Ten and a Half Studio mit Ola Klüft statt.
