Die 13. Annual Hollywood Film Festival's "Hollywood Awards" Zeremonie wurde letzte Woche im Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills vor 1.100 geladenen Gästen abgehalten.
AS I LAY DYING konnnten dabei den Preis für das beste Musikvideo für ihren Clip zu ‘The Sound Of Truth' einheimsen.
Frontmann Tim Lambesis: “The Sound of Truth video could not have been made without an entire team of amazing people. It was a combination of two individually complex forms of art that came together seamlessly to create one great video I'm very proud of. The basic concept is related to the music and lyrics that we wrote, but Brian Thompson and his whole crew took that beyond what we could have imagined.”
Produzient Brian Thompson, welcher bereits den Clip zu Nothing Left abgedreht hatte, filmte The Sound Of Truth in den Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, CA. Jener ist eine Fortsetzung des ersten Clips und wie bereits beim Vorgänger, wurde auch die Story zu diesem Video von der Band selbst vorgegeben und von Brian Thompson vollendet. Es stellt die Scheinheiligkeit und Ironie einer zerfallenen zukünftigen Gesellschaft dar.
