Die Schweizer CATARACT haben die Aufnahmen zu ihrem anstehenden Album mit Tue Madsen in den Antfarm Studios abgeschlossen. Folgendes Statement geb es von der Band:

"We traveled up through Friday and Saturday, taking a nap in Kassel, which is half way up. After we arrived in the early afternoon and moving in our little home for the next weeks, we set up the drumkit and the guitar amps, so we could rehearse on Sunday (which is Tue’s day off). Monday morning had us checking the drums, setting up the microphones and tuning a bit here and there. And after lunchtime we started recording the first songs. It’s pretty rough because once you’ve agreed on a good version, this will be it, there’s not much you can change later on. The final hits were done on Thursday morning, and Ricky was done working – the basis for eleven tracks was done. The rest of the day was used to check guitar sounds, recording a first track and doing a rough mix to hear how it would sound. The actual recordings then started on Friday, and proceeded pretty fast – Greg and Simon were done by Tuesday, one day before we’d pick up Fedi from Aarhus Airport, so that left us enough time to record the bass guitar on Wednesday. We picked up Fedi from the airport (can you believe that both EasyJet to London and Ryanair to Aarhus were actually on time?!!) on Wednesday evening, and after the bass was finished on Thursday morning he had to start work too, while the rest of us could kick back. Well actually no, Greg and Simon were still doing overdubs and checked out some additional guitar stuff to the songs. Saturday was the final day for all of us except Fedi who kept doing 2 – 3 songs every day until Wednesday. We listened to all the tracks again, did some intros and checked for mistakes or bad sounds... which is a pretty hard job when you’ve been listening to the same tracks again and again for two weeks."
