Obwohl "Infinity on High" gerade mal ein halbes Jahr zurückliegt, redet der Frontmann von FALL OUT BOY Patrick Stump bereits über das nächste Album der Band. Hier das Statement:

"I've got a bunch of songs written, but I think I'm going to wait a while before we release it, because I'm still really proud of this record and I want to kind of give it some space, [Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day once said he] didn't want to play four-chord punk rock for the rest of his life. If anybody knows anything about punk rock more than Billie Joe from Green Day, I don't know who it is. So I looked at that and their growth, and I think about how honest that is. They're really just true to what they are, and so that's how we are. I think we'll change stylistically, but at the end of the day, that's just something you wear. You're still yourself."

Des weiteren wird Stump das neue Cobra Starship Album produzieren, um danach wieder auf Tour mit FALL OUT BOY zu gehen.
