"i am the avalanche is neck-deep in the writing process for our upcoming album. so far we are freaking out about how good it's coming out. the record will be more upbeat and more agressive, at least that's the way it's shaping up. we are pretty sure this is the record our fans have been waiting for us to make. i'm sure there will be twists and turns along this path of writing so we will keep you posted. we go out on tour next week, for a week with silverstein, a wilhelm scream, and the sleeping in canada, then directly onto a west coast run with senses fail, saosin, and bleeding through. we conquered japan with godzilla-like force this past september. we were lucky enough to go there with no use for a name, who are rock gods over there, and we killed it. japan loves the motherfuckin avalanche and we love em back. look for a brand new i am the avalanche record summer '07!"
