Wenn das mal nicht ein kleines Highlight 2008 werden könnte: THESE ARMS ARE SNAKE haben verlauten lassen an einer Split-EP mit dem Postrock-Highlight Pelican zu arbeiten. Hier das Statement der Band:
"It's a split with Pelican where they redo one of their old songs and we added parts to it and we'll be redoing one of our old songs and they add their own flavor to it. Brilliant. We promise to not redo a shitty old song. Do we even have any of those? Aren't they all winners?"
Des weiteren hat die Band versprochen eine eigene Version des Nirvana-Songs "Heart Shaped Box" einzuspielen, der auf einer noch unbekannten Compilation erscheinen soll.
