Diese Woche erscheint mit "Mental Knife" das neue Album von HAIL THE SUN. Vorab stellt die Posthardcoreband unten mit “Glass: Half Empty” eine weitere Single der Platte im Stream vor. Das Album erscheint am 28. September via Rude Records/Equal Vision Records - zuletzt hatte die Band "Culture Scars"(2016, Equal Vision Records) sowie die "Secret Wars" EP (2017, Equal Vision Records) veroeffentlicht. Frontmann Donovan Melero kommentiert den Videoclip zur neuen Single wie folgt:
"I’m very grateful for everything I’ve ever been given or earned. I count my blessings on a daily basis. However, I feel as though the obsession to want ‘more’ has always plagued me. The harder it is to get... the more out of reach it seems... the more I want it. And if and when that is achieved, it’s like my mind solely decides that it’s time to crave something else. Or even worse, I realize I no longer want it, and never did.”
