JEFF CAUDILL - Neues Album

26.11.2008

Nach seinem letzten Album "Here´s What You Should Do", veröffentlicht JEFF CAUDILL nun sein neues Werk; allerdings in kompletter Eigenregie. Wie es dazu kam, lest Ihr in seinem Statement:

"Friends,
It¹s finally, um...here. 'Try To Be Here' is the title of my new album. Some of you have been hearing me talk about this record for a while now. I can't believe it¹s been over three years trying to get this thing done, but that's how it is these days. I can¹t pretend I¹m a rock star anymore. I've got real things to take care of and making music just can¹t be number one for me and that¹s ok. And that¹s why I value your friendship and support so much. I know it¹s pure cheddar/swiss/jack/provolone/gouda/etc but it¹s true you're the reason why I still do this. I know the economy is in the toilet and it¹s
rare to even spend money on CDs anymore but consider it an investment. Any returns I get from my music goes right back into making more. That's the only way I can do it now. I think that's a good plan. My wife and daughter seem to agree. And CDs make great gifts too ;] So I hope you get a chance to check out the new songs. I just put 5 songs up on my myspace page and did a little overhaul on my website. Have a look. Both pages have links to order the album. It'll end up in all the usual spots (iTunes, cdbaby, revhq.com, milesofmusic.com) eventually, but right now the only way to get it is directly from me. There¹s also my transcontinental electronic music project, Floormodel. That CD is definitely worth checking out and is available from me as well.

I write this from my ash covered home in Southern California. Thankfully, it seems as if firefighters are starting to contain these wildfires. I know this year has been a rollercoaster for just about everyone, but I think the best times are still ahead. Wherever you are, I wish you well. Be safe, take care of each other and for God¹s sake, continue rocking.
