Am 24. August erscheint mit "Hypochondriac" das neue Album der Surfrocker von THE FRIGHTS via Epitaph. Der Nachfolger zum 2016er "You Are Going To Hate This" wurde von FIDLAR-Frontmann Zac Carper (SWMRS, Dune Rats) produziert, von Rob Kinelski (Ed Sheeran, Billie Ellish, 30 Seconds To Mars) gemixt und von mehrfachen GRAMMY-Gewinner Greg Calbi (Arcade Fire, Tame Impala, The War On Drugs) gemastert. Anbei stellt die Band aus San Diego mit "No Place Like (Not Being) Home" bereits einen ersten Song der Platte vor. Frontmann Mikey Carnevale dazu:

‘No Place Like (Not Being) Home’ is a love note to being on tour. I live in San Diego and I’m really happy about that, so leaving home to drink myself to death for months at a time can get depressing. Everybody who has ever toured has had the best time of their lives and the worst time of their lives all in one month. And then finally coming home and decompressing with the people you love. And drinking water again. Gotta hydrate baby.
