THE FRIGHTS um Sänger und Gitarrist Mikey Carnevale veroeffentlichten am vergangenen Freitag ihr neues Studioalbum "Everything Seems Like Yesterday" ohne Vorankuendigung via Epitaph. Am 13. Maerz soll ein physisches Release folgen. Anbei stellt die Band einen Videoclip zur Single "Leave Me Alone".
Carnevale kommentiert die Platte wie folgt:
“A lot of these songs are about friends who are gone now, either in the sense that they passed away or that we don’t speak anymore. Our songs have always involved some kind of looking back over the past, but this one feels like the first time where I’m dealing with those situations and growing from them.”
