Die Chicagoer Punkrockband THE LAWRENCE ARMS kuendigt mit "Skeleton Coast“ ihr erstes neues Album seit sechs Jahren für den 17. Juli an. Die Platte erscheint via Epitaph Records - anbei stellt das Trio mit "PTA" einen ersten Song der Platte mitsamt Videoclip vor. Aufgenommen wurden die Songs mit Produzent Matt Allison in den Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas. Sänger und Gitarrist Chris McCaughan kommentiert:
"It was kind of like album camp in the sense that we were in this very remote setting for two weeks and really focusing on making the record. That was a very different experience for us because we’ve always made our records in Chicago which is home and all the things about home are in the way.”
