YOUTH KILLED IT kuendigen das Release ihres neuen Albums ‘What’s So Great, Britain?’ an. Die Platte erscheint am 5. Oktober via Rude Records FRontmann Jack Murphy erklaert die Hintergruende zum Album wie folgt:

Everything I’ve experienced over the last 14 months led to the creation of this record. Things that affect and impact the life of someone in their 20’s – from society to relationships. It’s been a mad 18 months for Britain and my personal life in general, so I really put my heart on my sleeve with this one.

Mit ‘Great British Summer’ feierte juengst eine weitere Vorabsingle der Band Premiere via Kerrang! Radio. Die Band kommentiert:

It’s about the fact that everyone is so miserable in the winter when it’s raining and cold - like my next door neighbour who constantly moans about everything when he’s not outside watering his flowers. We're pretty sure that like him 99% of Britain suffers from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and we pine for a bit of sun to cheer us all up. Don't worry you're not alone and that's why we wanted to write this song.
