“This song is a figurative painting in the sense that all of the experiences I've had in my life make up the person I am, hence the title 'Self Portrait'. I wanted this song to be the first track on the record because I think it is a good starting point and gives a little more inside depth to my life. What am I trying to say is that I'm a weirdo but I'm totally okay with it”.
