Ihrem Debütalbum, welches im März 2016 erscheinen soll, schicken die schwedischen Noiserocker von I AM SUPER APE eine Single voraus, bei der sie Mark Lanegan als Gast verpflichetn konnten. Unten gibt es die beiden Beiträge der Platte (bzw. einen Teaserclip) im Stream zu hören.
Hauptsongwriter Carlo von I AM SUPER APE erklärt seine Band so:
"I went through the 90s collecting Nirvana bootlegs and ripping tapes with Smashing Pumpkins, Pavement, Sonic Youth, Screaming Trees, Flaming Lips. On top of that, I'm one of the biggest Motorpsycho fans on this planet. I guess that's where I got the inspiration for this first record. Monki is the first song we wrote so it felt right starting with it."
