Am 27. Februar veroeffentlichen die Briten von SEVERED LIMB ihr zweites Album namens "If You Ain't Livin' You're A Dead Man" via Damaged Goods.

The Severed Limb starteten 2008 in einem Pub in Süd-London, als das Punk-Skiffle Trio um Drummer und Kneipenbesitzer Charlie Michael ihre erste Kassette aufnahm. Mit Bobby Paul (Gitarre/Gesang), Charlies Halbbruder Leo Lewis (Waschbrett) und meist ohne Bassist ging es auf Konzertreise durch die große Stadt. Mit dem Einstieg von Simon Mitchell kamen erstmals Stilelemente von Cumbia, Garage und R&B dazu.
Ihre erste EP ‘Woo Eee Ha Ha!’ fand die Aufmerksamkeit von Steve Lamacq / BBC Radio 6, der sie zur Live-Session einlud. Fortan ging es nur noch bergauf: Auf diverse Singles/EPs, ganz konsequent alle nur auf Vinyl, folgte das Debütalbum „Kill You and Bill You the Price of the Bullet“, das die Clash-artige Stilvielfalt und Offenheit für Weltmusik manifestierte. Es folgten sogar Auftritte mit Imelda May in der Royal Albert Hall.
Ihr neues Album „ If You Ain't Livin' You're A Dead Man“ nahmen sie bei Marco Nelson, der u.a. mit Primal Scream, Paul Weller and Young Disciples arbeitete, im (Analog-) Studio 65 in Brixton Hill auf.
