BAD COP / BAD COP haben im Juni ihr dritte Album "The Ride" via Fat Wreck Chords veröffentlicht. Zum Song "Pursuit of Liberty" wurde nun ein neues Lyric Video veröffentlicht. Geschrieben wurde der Song von Bassistin Linh Le. Thematisch geht es um eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Umgang mit Flüchtlingen in den USA.
Linh Le kommentiert:
“This country is supposed to be the Land of Opportunity. Everyone deserves the opportunity to follow their dreams and live their best life… especially those that have no choice but to risk theirs in pursuit of it.”
"The Ride" ist der Nachfolger des 2017er Album "Warriors". Die neue Platte wurde von Johnny Carry und Fat Mike produziert.
