“The lyrics are about arguing back and forth with your better judgment and the turmoil that comes out of that state of being. 'We've got a lot in common, nothing in common at all, but if you like being alone then come and find me’ is rationalizing the obvious fact that the relationship was a train wreck but loneliness sometimes feels heavier than dissonance”.
