"The lyrics of this song take inspiration from the third chapter of George Orwell’s '1984'. There, the main character discovers that society is actually based on lies and information manipulation, and is tortured into accepting and kneeling to this truth. We use this story to explain how politics and mass media nowadays flood us with information and torture us metaphorically in order to quench their thirst for power, to the point of always wanting for more and making it an end in itself".
